Dear ICN members,

The 6th Annual Conference of the International Competition Network will be held from May 29th until June 1st in Moscow in 2007. Let me take this opportunity to cordially invite you to participate in the Conference with expected number of participants of up to 500 people.

This conference is one of the most important international events in the area of competition policy. Organization of such an event in Russia shows adherence of the Russian Government to the active participation in the development of competition policy. The ICN Conference will be held in the newly opened Ritz-Carlton Hotel that is located in the very heart of Moscow, with all the major places for sightseeing just behind the corner.

The ICN Conference will be preceded by the Conference on “Competition and Integration” organised by IDRC and Conference organaised by International Bar Association. Both these Conferences would be held on the 29th of May, with the official opening of the ICN Conference on the morning of 30th of May.

Please let us know how many delegates your authority is planning on sending to the Conference. Due to the Conference hall space limitation both representatives of ICN member and international organization as well as non-governmental advisers have to be nominated by the competition agency of their country or international organization in order to attend. All participants will be registered finally and receive an official invitation (that will be needed to get a visa) only if they are named in the lists from ICN members and international organizations.

Further details of the Conference, viz. registration form, hotel accommodation, traveling information and other details can be found on the website: www.icn-moscow.org. We would like, at this early stage to draw your attention to the need to register and make your accommodation arrangements expeditiously. A block of booking has been secured at the conference hotels mentioned on the website, online booking for those hotels would be available in the nearest future. We would strongly recommend you to register for the Conference and book your accommodation at least two month before the event, due to the fact that you will need considerable time for visa arrangements, and also conference hotels discounts would be available only till March. There are few other large Conferences to be held in Moscow in the same period of time, so it is important that you book your accommodation as soon as possible.
